Dreams of Hope

Sleepless, I see the future revealed
Fully awake,I see a dawn of hope
Ne'er does the darkness vanquish the light
For 'tis the light which is power

Tender nights, where the folds of time, hold me
Serene days, where the will of Hope survives
Here, in both dimensions,I reside awake, alive
Seeing with no vision, feeling with but my heart

Let me slumber, for weary I am, from my travels
Let me lay down, silent, to dream of that I see
While the world passes me by, with no care
I shall, sleep the sleep of promise and hope

Does the night see me in my fragile state?
Can the dawn, shed light as if Savior?
Answer me my dream,
Let me not, languish here unsure

Many lifetimes, pass as we search for comfort
From the walls of Castle Keep I have cried
From battlefields, from the frontier
Yet, unanswered I have wailed forlorn

A soul, does live forever, till becoming loved
A heart, goes on, searching, till eternaly it is held
A mind,lets images become reality, till they are felt
My being,possess all,to be known, and cherished

I sleep, the sleep of hope
I awaken, to the dawn, of happiness
Till I sleep in the light of truth
And awaken, in the sunshine,of love
